AXITEC Launches 300 MW Solar Module Manufacturing Plant in Tamil Nadu

AXITEC has inaugurated a new manufacturing plant in Tiruvallur, Tamil Nadu, with a production capacity of 300 MW. It will manufacture the latest NType TOPCon technology solar modules.

The plant has already begun operations and is in the process of getting Approved List of Models and Manufactures (ALMM) certification. New job opportunities in the quality control, manufacturing, accounting, and logistics sectors have been added with the commissioning of this plant.

Recently, in May 2024, Adani Solar has planned to develop a 225 MW solar power manufacturing plant in Puranpura within a year. For this, Adani Solar has signed a MoU with Almiya Group for its expansion in Kerala. Furthermore, the company has set up a warehouse in Coimbatore to expedite the delivery of solar panels to Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
