Adani Power to Expand Capacity by 4,800 MW via Acquisitions and Brownfield Projects

Reportedly, Adani Power Limited  is planning to ramp up its capacity, targeting an increase of 4,800 MW through both inorganic acquisitions and brownfield projects.

The company is assessing brownfield expansion projects to add 4,800 MW and advancing three projects of 1,600 MW each, located in Raipur, Raigarh, and Mirzapur. The Raipur and Raigarh projects are expansions of existing power plants in Chhattisgarh, while the Mirzapur project in Uttar Pradesh is being carried out by Mirzapur Thermal Energy (UP) Private Limited.
