ACME Solar has commissioned four co-located ISTS-connected solar projects totaling 1,023 MW in the Jaisalmer district of Rajasthan. These projects, with a cumulative capacity of 1,200 MW, already have a 25-year power purchase agreement with the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) at a tariff of Rs 2.44 per kWh.
The remaining 177 MW capacity of the project has already been energised and is currently in the process of commissioning. Once fully operational, the 1,200 MW project is expected to generate approximately 3,000 MUs of clean electricity annually and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 2.6 million tonnes per year.
The facility is located in a high solar irradiation zone, optimising generation efficiency by using shared infrastructure across all four 300 MW plants. The project financing has been secured from the Power Finance Corporation (PFC) and the Rural Electrification Corporation (REC).
In November 2024, ACME Solar launched an IPO worth Rs 30 billion with a price band of Rs 275–289 per equity share, with proceeds allocated for debt repayment, investments, and corporate purposes.
