Bidders can submit proposals for either Phase 1 (500 MW) or Phase 2 (200 MW), with bidding required in multiples of 100 MW. Furthermore, solar modules must be sourced from the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy. Reportedly, bidders are required to pay a money deposit of Rs 107 million per 100 MW.

Bidders are also required to have an annual average turnover of Rs 20.7 million per MW over the past three financial years, and must have executed at least one electrical substation of 33 kV or higher voltage, including equipment such as circuit breakers and power transformers of 33 kV or higher voltage, either as a developer or EPC contractor. The scope of work also includes comprehensive operation and maintenance of the solar project for a period of three years.
