BluPine Energy and Dalmia Cement Ink PPA for 46.87 MWp Solar Project

BluPine Energy has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Dalmia Bharat arm-Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited for the establishment of 46.87 MWp solar power plant in Karnataka under the captive structure.

Dalmia Cement will own a minimum of 26 per cent equity stake in the special purpose vehicle of BluPine Energy specially incorporated for this project, boosting BluPine’s consumer and industrial capacity to over 400 MW, with an aim of reaching 1,000 MW. The new solar plant is expected to generate around 93.75 million units of electricity annually and offsetting over 85,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions each year.
