NLC India Green Energy Limited (NIGEL), a subsidiary of NLC India Limited (NLCIL), has inked a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) for a 600 MW solar project.
The project is located at Khavda solar park, Bhuj district, Gujarat. GUVNL will purchase all the electricity generated by the project, with a PPA tariff set at Rs 2.705 per kWh.
The project is expected to produce an annual electricity generation of 1,577.88 million units, amounting to a cumulative generation of 39.45 billion units over its lifetime.
