VSB Group has secured a contract for difference (CfD) for a 303 MWp solar park as part of this year’s renewable energy auction organised by the Polish Energy Regulatory Office (URE). Located in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, the project is expected to commence construction in October 2025. The project is expected to be connected to the grid in the second quarter of 2027.
Furthermore, the project benefits from a 15 year contract for difference, which will ensure long-term price stability. Once the project is completed, its expected annual electricity output will be sufficient to supply the equivalent of around 117,000 households with clean, renewable energy.
Earlier in June 2025, VSB Group commissioned the Soleil de Balsac photovoltaic plant. The project has an installed capacity of 9.2 MWp and was developed by VSB Group‘s French subsidiary, VSB France. It consists of 16,740 solar modules and generates approximately 10,550 MWh of electricity annually.
