Vietnam Firm Wins Contract for 100 MW Wind Farm in the Philippines

IPC E&C Philippines Corporation, a subsidiary of Vietnam-based IPC Group, has secured a deal to install wind turbines for a 100 MW onshore wind farm in Laguna province in the Philippines.

The project, led by Laguna Wind Energy Corporation and backed by Southeast Asia’s (wind energy developer The Blue Circle, will feature 17 Goldwind turbines, each with a capacity of 6 MW. The installation of the turbines is scheduled to begin in 2025, with commercial operations expected by 2026. This marks IPC’s expansion beyond Vietnam and highlights its achievement as the first Vietnam-based company to secure a wind turbine contract in the Philippines. The Government of the Philippines is aiming to increase its clean energy share to 35 per cent by 2030.
