TP Solar Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited, has inaugurated its 4.3 GW solar cell and module manufacturing facility in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu.
The facility is India’s largest single-location solar manufacturing plant, is equipped with advanced tunnel oxide passivated contact (TOPCon) and monocrystalline passivated emitter and rear contact (mono PERC) technologies.
The plant will manufacture high efficiency solar cells and modules to meet the country’s growing renewable energy demand.
