Solex Energy Limited has commissioned an 800 MW high-speed solar module manufacturing line in Surat, Gujarat, featuring n-Type TOPCon rectangular cell-based modules. The new facility is designed for mass production of the Tapi-R series modules, with capacities ranging from 585 Wp to 625 Wp. This production line operates 30 per cent faster than other facilities in India, ensuring higher output efficiency and reduced lead times.

The facility incorporates Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) for enhanced quality control with minimal manual intervention. Additionally, it features India’s largest chamber laminators, allowing for higher module laminations in a single cycle while maintaining stringent quality standards. With a cell size of 182.2 x 210 mm and 132 half-cut cells, the Tapi-R series modules deliver up to 625 Wp with a module efficiency of 23.14 per cent. Further, they offer a bifacial rate of approximately 80 per cent and a power temperature coefficient of -0.28 per cent per degree celsius.
