Powin and BHE Renewables Partner for US Solar and Storage Microgrid Project

Powin is collaborating with BHE Renewables to provide energy storage solutions for one of the largest solar and storage microgrids, located in Ravenswood, West Virginia. This innovative project will supply renewable energy to Titanium Metals Corporation to produce titanium products for the aerospace industry.

Powin will supply a 50 MW Centipede™ Stack800 battery storage system to support the microgrid, which will feature a 106 MW solar array. Additionally, this project is one of Powin’s first to align with the Inflation Reduction Act’s domestic content requirements, aimed at boosting the US economy.
