Plenitude, through its US subsidiary Eni New Energy, has inked an agreement with EDP Renewables North America LLC. Under this agreement, Plentitude will acquire a 49 per cent equity stake in two photovoltaic plants and an electricity storage facility currently under construction in California, US.
The projects include the Sandrini 100 and Sandrini 200 solar farms, as well as the Sandrini BESS storage facility. Furthermore, the Sandrini 100 and Sandrini 200 solar farms share the same grid connection infrastructure with the Sandrini BESS storage facility. These plants have a combined installed capacity of about 499 MWdc. Out of the total capacity, 245 MWdc corresponds to Plenitude’s share.
