Oriana Power to Develop 52 MW Ground-Mounted Solar Facility for BPCL

Oriana Power has received an order of Rs 2.47 billion under engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) segment for setting up a 52 MW ground mounted solar plant for Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Operations and Maintenance support for 5 years, Central Transmission Utility (CTU) approval and construction of transmission lines are also part of the project. BPCL had released an open tender for this in June 2024.

In July 2024, Oriana Power secured a contract from a cement manufacturing company for a 40 MWp solar power plant to be located in Rajasthan under the captive segment. Further, in August 2023, the company had bagged an EPC order to establish a 20 MW ground-mounted solar photovoltaic project from Bharat Cooking Coal Limited to be located in Dhanbad, Jharkhand.
