NLC India Limited has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Rajasthan government for formation of joint venture to set up 125 MW lignite based power plant and 1 GW solar power plant. The MoU between NLC India and RVUNL entails an investment of more than Rs 70 billion. Additionally, a letter of intent for the setup of 810 MW solar power plant has already been issued.
