Meta in collaboration with Solarpack, is set to build two solar projects in Indiana. This partnership supports its recent $800 million data center investment in Indiana. By signing long-term Environmental Attribute Purchase Agreements, Meta is paving the way for renewable energy procurement to power its operations in Indiana.

Under the agreement, Meta will purchase the output from Solarpack’s two solar projects in Indiana totaling 210 MW (280 MWdc). This strategic move aligns with the state’s renewable energy goals and contributes to a greener, carbon-free future.

Solarpack, founded in 2005, has built on EPC basis power plants that represent a total capacity of 2.5 GW. The company has a project portfolio of 14 GW of projects across 14 countries, and currently operates 51 renewable projects totalling 1.7 GW through its own projects and through asset management service agreements across Europe, Latin America, and Asia.
