Mahindra & Mahindra has revealed the signing of a MoU with Adani Total Energies E-Mobility Limited, in a significant step towards expediting the uptake of electric vehicles (EV) in India. This partnership marks a substantial stride towards forging a greener, more sustainable future, in line with India’s ambitious climate action objectives.
The MoU between Mahindra and Adani outlines plans for establishing an extensive EV charging infrastructure nationwide. Additionally, the partnership will involve deploying e-mobility solutions to offer customers seamless access to the charging network, encompassing aspects such as discovery, availability, navigation, and transactions. Through this collaboration, XUV400 customers will gain access to over 1,100 chargers via the Bluesense+ app, substantially improving the convenience and accessibility of EV charging for Mahindra EV owners.
Recently, in March 2024, Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has successfully initiated a total solar energy capacity of 1,000 MW at the Khavda Renewable Energy Park in Gujarat, solidifying its operational capacity to 9,478 MW. In the same month, Adani Electricity Mumbai issued a tender to choose project developers for the procurement of power from 600 MW grid-connected wind projects anywhere in India.
