Kundan Green Energy plans to establish a hydroelectric project in Sikkim

Kundan Green Energy has announced the construction of a new hydropower plant in Rellichu, Sikkim. The company has bagged the project from the government of Sikkim. Scheduled for completion in 2026, the Rellichu hydropower project is set to produce power from 21 MW project, making a significant contribution to Sikkim’s power and developmental goals. Upon its commissioning, the Rellichu project will increase Kundan Green Energy’s total hydropower capacities from the current 104 MW to 125 MW.

A fully-owned subsidiary of the Kundan Group, Kundan Green Energy provides trading and portfolio management services for discoms, generators, as well as industrial and commercial users.
