Juniper Green Partners with Envision to Establish 300 MW Wind Project

Juniper Green Energy has collaborated with Envision Energy to set up a 300-MW wind energy project in Gujarat.  Under the partnership, Envision Energy will supply 91 units of EN 156-3.3 MW wind turbine generators (WTGs). It will also be responsible for overseeing the project, including the installation and commissioning phase. The company will also handle maintenance services of all WTGs.

The project is anticipated to be completed in phases by the end of 2025. Additionally, the project is expected to generate 1,000 GWh of green power per year.

In January 2024, Juniper Green Energy and government of Gujarat signed a MoU to set up 1,000 MW of wind and solar projects within the state, involving a significant investment of Rs 80 billion.

In September 2023, Juniper Green Energy bagged $350 million from AT Capital Group and Vitol to assist in its operational capacity expansion.

In July 2023, at the 14th Clean Energy Ministerial meeting, Juniper Green Energy and Power Finance Corporation Limited signed a MoU for Rs 50 billion to support 1,200 MW of renewable energy projects.
