JSW Energy Limited has received a letter of intent (LoI) from the resolution professional for its resolution plan submitted for the 3,600 MW KSK Mahanadi Power Company Limited thermal power plant in Chhattisgarh.
The plant utilises domestic coal and comprises 1,800 MW (3×600 MW) operational capacity, 95 percent tied up under long and medium-term power purchase agreements. The remaining 1,800 MW is under construction, with one unit (600 MW) 40 per cent complete and arrangements in place for the final 1,200 MW. The project includes water and coal transportation infrastructure for its full capacity.
