JSW Energy Secures LoA for 700 MW Solar Project

JSW Neo Energy Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of JSW Energy Limited, has received a letter of award (LoA) from NTPC Limited for inter-state transmission system (ISTS) connected solar capacity of 700 MW, against tariff based competitive bid invited by NTPC for setting up of 1,500 MW ISTS connected solar power projects.

Subsequent to this, the company’s total locked-in generation capacity increases to 13.3 GW of which 3.1 GW comprises of solar power.

Recently, in April 2024, JSW Energy announced that it raised Rs 50 billion through qualified institutional placement route.

In March 2024, JSW Energy inked a battery energy storage purchase agreement with Solar Energy Corporation of India

In May 2023, JSW Renew Energy Three Limited inked a power purchase deal with the SECI for 25-years of electricity supply at a rate of Rs. 2.94 per KWh.
