JSW bags LoA for 300 MW solar-wind hybrid project

JSW Neo Energy, a wholly-owned subsidiary of JSW Energy Limited, has secured a letter of award (LoA) from the Solar Energy Corporation of India for the development of a 300 MW inter-state transmission system (ISTS) connected wind-solar hybrid project. The project has been won as a part of tariff-based competitive bidding in the SECI auction for the development of 1,200 MW of ISTS connected wind-solar hybrid projects, Tranche VIII.

Recently, in June 2024, JSW Energy initiated the construction activities for its battery energy storage system project.

In April 2024, JSW Neo Energy Limited received a LoA from NTPC Limited for ISTS-connected solar capacity of 700 MW.
