New Delhi: Jakson Solar Modules and Cells, a part of the leading energy and infrastructure solutions conglomerate, Jakson Group, officially launched their latest technology solar modules at the Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The inauguration was graced by the presence of Shri Prashant Kumar Singh, Secretary, MNRE, along with esteemed Board Members of Jakson Group.
The newly launched ‘Helia NXT R’ is designed to redefine solar efficiency, offering a module efficiency of upto 23.34%, utilizing high-efficiency rectangular 16 BB N-Type TOPCon solar cells. This technology enables the module to deliver a maximum power output ranging from 610Wp to 630Wp, ensuring high power generation along with enhanced mechanical strength and reliability, particularly suited for tough environments.
Commenting on the occasion, Shri Prashant Kumar Singh, Secretary, MNRE, said, “The launch of new technologies like the Helia NXT R highlights the important strides being made in the renewable energy sector. In a recent update, the company also shared plans to invest approximately Rs 2,000 crore to establish a 2,500 MW solar cell manufacturing facility, as well as expand its solar module manufacturing capacity from current 1,200 MW to 2,000 MW.
