Jakson Engineers Delivers 100 MW Solar Modules to GIPCL

Noida : Jakson Engineers Limited, part of the energy and infrastructure conglomerate Jakson Group, successfully delivered 100 MW of solar PV modules to Gujarat Industries Power Company Limited (GIPCL) for their 2,375 MW Renewable Energy Park, located near Khavda in Gujarat, marking a significant step in advancing India’s clean energy transition and reinforcing GIPCL’s dedication to reducing carbon emissions and ensuring long-term energy security.

Jakson Engineers is the first company to complete its contract capacity and deliver around 1,90,000 units of its flagship PERC (Helia Plus) bifacial solar panels, manufactured by Jakson Solar Modules and Cells.

Commenting on this achievement, Mr. Anurag Garg, CEO of Jakson Solar Modules and Cells, stated, “We are proud to partner with GIPCL on this landmark project. This project reaffirms our commitment to the rapidly evolving solar industry, delivering high-quality products while supporting India’s ambitious green energy goals. We are optimistic about the future and eager to play a crucial role in transforming India’s renewable energy landscape, fostering domestic manufacturing, and strengthening its position as a global leader in sustainable practices.”

In a recent update, the company unveiled plans to invest around INR 2,000 crore ($215.9 million) to establish a 2.5 GW solar cell manufacturing facility, as well as plans to expand its solar module manufacturing capacity from 1.2 GW to 2 GW.
