Inox Wind bags 50 MW contract for its 2 MW wind turbine

Inox Wind Limited has bagged a letter of intent from NLC India for 50 MW inter-state transmission system-connected wind energy project. To be set up on turnkey basis, the company will be responsible for supply, installation, and commissioning its 2 MW wind turbine generators (WTGs). The project will be implemented at the mega Dayapar site in Gujarat’s Kutch district.

Under the project, Inox Wind will deliver, set up, and initiate its DF 113/92 – 2.0 MW capacity WTGs, along with offering extensive operations and maintenance services for a period exceeding 10 years after commissioning.

In December 2023, Inox Wind Limited announced that it secured a 279 MW contract from a commercial and industrial player for its 3 MW WTGs.

In July 2023, Inox Wind announced that TUV SUD granted a Type Certificate to Inox Wind for their new generation 3 MW wind turbine with a booster capacity of up to 3.3 MW.
