Hetvi Construction Limited has been awarded an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract by Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL) to develop a 125 MW solar power project in Assam. The project will be set up in Karbi Anglong district as part of the Assam solar park.
This turnkey contract involves the complete design, engineering, procurement, erection, and commissioning of the solar plant, aimed at increasing the state’s renewable energy capacity. The total value of the project is estimated at approximately Rs 7.4 billion.
In February 2025, APDCL issued a tender for 134 MW of rooftop solar on government buildings under the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojna scheme.
