Gensol Engineering wins contract for 23 MW rooftop solar project in Dubai

Gensol Engineering Limited bags a contract from a major sustainable development and clean energy company in the UAE. This contract entails the design, construction, and long-term operation and maintenance of rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for the facilities of a leading aviation company in Dubai. The total installed capacity for the project is 23.178 MW.

Valued at AED 81.6 million ($22.2 million), the project will be completed over a 20-month period. The scope includes design, material procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning, along with ongoing operation and maintenance of the rooftop solar systems. These systems will contribute to Dubai’s sustainability goals by providing renewable energy for a key industrial facility, significantly lowering the carbon footprint and supporting the region’s clean energy transition.

In August 2024, Gensol Engineering bagged a 16 MW rooftop solar project in India. The project is on engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) basis with an estimated timeline of six months.
