Gautam Solar has announced plans to expand their solar module manufacturing capacity to 5 GW by 2025. The expansion is expected to take place in three phases. The first phase is set to be completed by November 2024, followed by the second and third phases in January and April 2025, respectively.

Additionally, the company has outlined a Rs 10 billion cell expansion plan. This plan and further growth will be funded through an Initial Public Offering (IPO). The IPO is anticipated to be launched in the next 12-18 months. The IPO will provide the funds for setting up a 2 GW solar cell manufacturing plant. This plant will bolster solar module production and help achieve the 5 GW target within the stipulated time.

In July 2024, Gautam Solar announced the filing of a patent design registration for its packaging pallet designed for the storage and transportation of solar panels. In May 2024, Gautam Solar collaborated with Redington Limited, a technology solutions provider, to distribute Gautam Solar’s solar modules across India.
