BENGALURU – Delta Electronics India announced a significant partnership with the Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) for the naming rights associated with the Bommasandra metro station. The station, a key terminal on the new Yellow Line and located near Delta India’s HQs & R&D Centre, will now be officially known as “Delta Electronics, Bommasandra Metro Station.” This collaboration highlights Delta’s commitment to supporting Bengaluru’s urban infrastructure and sustainable growth. The Yellow Line has been formally inaugurated today by the Honorable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi.

Mr. Benjamin Lin, President, Delta Electronics India, said,“On behalf of Delta Electronics, I would like to congratulate the Central Govt., State Govt., BMRCL, and all citizens for the new expansion to their state-of-the-art metro system. This partnership underlines our vision of Bengaluru as a leading smart & sustainable city and India as a world-class technology hub. We look forward to continuing Delta’s efforts to deploy smart and energy-saving solutions capable of enriching cities, developing local communities, and accelerating India’s progress towards a smarter & sustainable future.”

Speaking on the occasion, Niranjan Nayak, Managing Director, Delta Electronics India, said, “The partnership with BMRCL is a testimony of Delta’s unique ESG commitment to be a responsible partner in community building. At a functional level, naming the station Bommasandra is a demonstration of our longstanding association with this city and its people. We are honored to contribute to an infrastructure project that will positively impact thousands of lives every day.”

Securing the station’s naming rights will not only reinforce Delta’s identity as an enabler of sustainable infrastructure in India but will also underscore the company’s deep ties to Bengaluru. The new station is in close proximity to Delta’s advanced India Headquarters and Global R&D Center, a LEED Gold-certified green building inaugurated in September last year.

In sync with BMRCL, the partnership is part of the shared vision to create a more connected and sustainable Bengaluru. With this project, Delta Electronics India is keen to establish itself as key contributor in the development of the city while carving a niche into green energy – advanced mobility and contributing towards nation building.
