Ardian has acquired a 116 MW portfolio of 117 solar PV plants in operation. The plants are located in various Italian regions and are benefiting from feed-in tariffs. The seller of the plants is E2E.
The plants have over 10 years of operating track record, and many of them have been recently repowered and revamped with tier 1 technology. The transaction aligns with Ardian Clean Energy Evergreen Fund’s strategy, focused on highly contracted brownfield renewable assets. Furthermore, InEnergy will provide asset management and development services to the portfolio.
Earlier in February 2025, Ardian, in partnership with its operating platform eNordic, took the final investment decision to build a battery energy storage system in Finland. The project has a capacity of 30 MW/30 MWh and is situated in the city of Riihimäki. It is scheduled to be completed by the second quarter of 2026.
