Aggreko Energy Transition Solutions (ETS) has acquired Infiniti Energy, a US-based commercial and industrial solar company, from Upper Bay Infrastructure Partners, which has fully exited its position. Infiniti Energy adds 12 MW of contracted operating solar assets, 22 MW of construction-ready solar projects to ETS’s portfolio.

Furthermore, this acquisition strengthens Aggreko’s presence in several East Coast markets and improves in-house capabilities such as power purchase agreement origination and EPC management. CRC-IB served as an advisor to Upper Bay Infrastructure Partners on the transaction.

This acquisition enhances Aggreko’s distributed solar capabilities and asset base by incorporating Infiniti’s expertise in solar design, engineering, procurement, and construction, along with its pipeline of onsite decarbonisation projects. The combined teams within Aggreko ETS will utilise their collective strengths to provide reliable EPC services and innovative, sustainable energy solutions through long-term PPAs to a wider market.
