AGEL Begins Operation of 551 MW Solar Capacity in Gujarat

Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has added 551 MW of solar capacity to the national grid from its project located in Khavda, Gujarat.

This milestone was achieved within just 12 months of initiating the Khavda renewable energy park project. The Khavda renewable energy park aims to become the world’s largest renewable energy installation, with a planned capacity of 30 GW over the next five years. The newly operationalised solar capacity is projected to provide electricity to approximately 16.1 million households annually.
