Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (JVVNL) has issued a tender seeking bids from solar power generators for the design, survey, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of 238.4 MW grid-connected solar power projects under Component C of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyaan (PM-KUSUM). The projects will be implemented under the Renewable Energy Service Company (RESCO) model. The last date to submit bids is January 15, 2025.
According to the tender guidelines, the bidders are required to furnish a deposit of Rs 100,000 per MW, along with a performance bank guarantee of Rs 500,000 per MW. The tender documents are available for Rs 11,800. The estimated project cost is Rs 35 million per MW.
The selected bidders will be responsible for operations and maintenance services, establishing 33 kV or 11 kV lines to connect the solar projects to 33/11 kV substations, and setting up remote monitoring systems. The projects must be commissioned within nine months from the issuance of the Letter of Award (LOA). Additionally, a 25-year power purchase agreement will be signed within two months of issuing the LOA.
According to the eligibility criteria, only single bidders or joint ventures with up to two members are eligible to participate. Single bidders must certify ownership of assets equal to at least 20 per cent of the total quoted capacity. Other bidders must demonstrate a minimum annual average turnover of 30 per cent of the total quoted capacity cost.
